UltraCompetition ("we", "our", "the app") is a fitness competition app that uses activity data from Apple HealthKit to calculate points and let users compete with other players. We respect the sensitive nature of health and fitness information and use it only to provide the app's fitness features.
UltraCompetition may collect and store the following information:
UltraCompetition does not request access to your contacts and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
With your permission, UltraCompetition reads Move, Exercise, Stand, activity-goal, and workout information from Apple HealthKit. HealthKit permission is requested separately for each supported data type, and the app does not write information to HealthKit.
Workout metadata and individual activity samples are processed to validate activity and exclude manually entered values. UltraCompetition stores the resulting daily activity totals, goals, and calculated points in Supabase; it does not store individual workout records.
We do not sell HealthKit data or use it for advertising, marketing, tracking, data mining, or any purpose unrelated to UltraCompetition's health and fitness features.
We use information to:
Authenticated users may see your username and preset avatar when searching for players or participating in a competition. Players in the same competition may also see your points, ranking, and competition results.
Other players cannot see your phone number, Move calories, activity goals, Exercise minutes, Stand hours, workout metadata, or other underlying HealthKit information.

These providers may process information needed to deliver their services and are governed by their own privacy policies. We require service providers handling app data to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable requirements.
We do not sell your personal information or health and fitness data. We share information only with the service providers described above as needed to operate UltraCompetition, or when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or with your express permission.
Your account, profile, competition information, daily activity aggregates, and points are stored using Supabase. Access controls are used to keep phone numbers and underlying activity values private while allowing authorized competition members to view leaderboard points.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
We retain your information while your account is active or paused so that the app can provide its features and you can resume a paused account. Pausing your account does not delete your account or its associated data.
You can permanently delete your account using the account-deletion control in the app. Account deletion removes your phone number, profile, stored HealthKit activity aggregates, invitations, and other personal data associated with your account, except information we are legally required to retain.
Historical competition points, rankings, and results may be retained to preserve competition history, but they will no longer be linked to your account, phone number, username, or avatar and will appear under a non-identifying label such as "Deleted User".
UltraCompetition is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to the app, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version and its effective date will be posted on this page.
