QuestNest Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

QuestNest may collect the following information:

• Account information (such as name and email) when you sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google
• App data you create in the app (for example, chores, rewards, and family setup details)
• Wallet and transaction data related to family wallet funding and e-gift card purchases (for example, wallet balances, funding amounts, and gift card order details)
• App usage and diagnostics data to improve performance and reliability

Payment information used to fund a family wallet is processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment information on our systems.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Authenticate users and provide core app functionality
• Save and sync your app content (if sync is enabled)
• Process family wallet funding, maintain wallet balances, and fulfill and display e-gift cards in the app
• Improve app performance, fix bugs, and prevent abuse

Third-Party Services

QuestNest may use third-party services to operate the app, such as:

• Firebase (authentication, database, analytics/diagnostics)
• Apple Sign In
• Google Sign In
• Stripe (payment processing for family wallet funding)
• Giftbit (e-gift card fulfillment)

Payments and Gift Cards

QuestNest allows users to fund family wallets and use those wallet balances to purchase e-gift cards.

Payment information is handled by Stripe and is not stored by us. Giftbit is used as our gift card provider, and Giftbit does not store your payment information or personal information for our app.

E-gift cards are delivered to the user within the QuestNest app rather than being sent to an external email address or phone number through Giftbit.

If a family is deleted, any remaining funds in that family wallet will be lost.

Future Advertising

In future versions, QuestNest may display advertisements or promotional content. If we add third-party advertising (for example, an ad network), that provider may collect information such as device identifiers, approximate location, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads.

If advertising is added, we will update this policy as needed to reflect the specific providers used. If required, we will request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before tracking across apps and websites.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers used to operate the app (such as the services listed above) and only as necessary to provide the app, including processing family wallet funding through Stripe and issuing e-gift cards through Giftbit for in-app delivery.

Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information using industry-standard safeguards. Payment information is processed by Stripe and is not stored on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy

QuestNest is intended for family use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental involvement. Parents/guardians are responsible for the accounts, wallet activity, gift card purchases, and data created for children.

Your Choices

You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

Please note that deleting a family will remove its wallet and any remaining family wallet funds will be lost.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page.
